I am Listing top 10 Indian scholarships here available on National Level; however Many Scholarships are awarded by state government to their citizen also.

1. Inspire scholarship

Inspire Scholarship

Department of Science and Technology (DST) provides financial assistance for further studies through Inspire scholarship. It stands for Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research. Inspire scholarship is a merit-based scholarship. Rs. 80000 per year are provided as Inspire scholarship amount.

2. KVPY

KVPY

The badge of being a KVPY Scholar is a prestigious one and it provides direct admission to top institutes like IISc and the various IISERs. The KVPY fellows receive Rs. 5000 monthly fellowship from 1st to 3rd year of B.Sc/ B.Tech &  After three years the fellowship is enhanced to Rs. 7,000 per month during M.Sc/4th and 5th year of Integrated M.S./M.Sc and an annual contingency grant of Rs. 28,000

 

 

3. NTSE scholarship

NTSE

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is one of the most competitive exams in India. NTSE Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship program for students of Class 10 from all over the country. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts the exam every year and 1000 meritorious students are selected for the NTSE scholarship. Scholarship of Rs. 1250 per month is awarded for class XI to XII & 2000 per month is awarded for Undergraduates and Postgraduates. The NTSE scholarship is awarded to the selected students all through the different stages of their education. Apart from the monetary benefits of being an NTSE scholar, there are additional advantages as well.

4. UGC post graduate merit scholarship

top 10 Indian scholarshipsUGC Scholarship – government of India, offers a number of scholarships for the students across the nation to help them pursue their education at higher level. Each awardee, under the scheme, will be provided a scholarship of Rs. 2,000/- p.m. for a period of two years.

 

5. Aditya birla scholarship

The Aditya Birla Scholarship Programme is attained through fostering outstanding academic excellence and humane leadership values, in partnership with select IITs, BITS (Pilani), IIMs, XLRI and law campuses.

IIMs / XLRI: Rs. 1,75,000 per annum

LAW: Rs. 1,80,000 per annum or fees at actual, whichever is lower

IIT / BITS (Pilani): Rs. 1,00,000 per annum

6. Merck scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to encourage talented under-privileged students who are keen to pursue their education and achieve graduation in a subject of their choice. Students passed out from the 10th standard, This scholarship is awarded for 150 students and each will receive INR 35,000 annually as the scholarship amount until graduation, based on actual tuition fees and other educational expenses incurred by the students.

Students who have successfully passed Std. X (SSC) with a minimum overall score of 80% and have family income less than or equal to Rs.20000/- per month can apply for this scholarship.

7. Dhiru bhai ambani scholarship

The Reliance Foundation’s Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarship Program for all mid-level / 12 students whose names appear on the merit list of state or CBSE board exams and their academic degrees in programs leading to a degree such as want to complete the engineering. Medicine, science, law, pharmacy. The total reward amount is ₹ 40,000 per annum is given to awardees.

 8. dr reddy scholarship (Only for Girls)

It provides a level playing ground to girl students, especially from rural India and low socio-economic backgrounds, to get access to quality education in some of India’s best science institutions by offering financial support and mentorship throughout their undergraduate studies. The scholarships are limited to students securing admissions in the 12 listed science colleges. The selected fellows will receive a scholarship worth INR 2,40,000 (INR 80,000 per annum) for 3 years of study.

The National Scholarship Award will cover your tuition and fees up to a maximum of $14,500 for an associate degree and $29,000 for a bachelor’s degree, at one of our Partner Colleges.  The award is renewable each year – you simply have to meet the continuing eligibility criteria.

10. Foundation For Academic Excellence And Access Scholarships In India

The objective of Scholarship Program of FAEA is to secure social justice for students belonging to socially and economically disadvantaged sections of the society. For getting this Scholarship, Students Should have passed Class XII examination from a recognized Indian Board. The final selection will, however, be subject to the student securing certain minimum scores in Class XII examinations and interview results. The Prize amounts will be based entirely on the discretion of the Program and may cover full or partial cost of the proposed study plans. The program will assist selected candidates in making all logistical arrangement related to travel and insurance.
